The Texas Department of Transportation closed US 77A at its intersection with US 90A on Wednesday to complete construction of a roundabout. The closure is expected to last about two months and runs along US 77A from US 90A to County Road 169.
Local traffic will have access to adjacent properties within the closure area. Other drivers should expect possible delays and use alternate routes shown on the project detour map.
Travel between Hallettsville and Shiner in both directions will remain open.
