The ArtsGoggle arts and music festival is paused in 2027 because of underground repairs on Magnolia Avenue, which begin in the spring. The event usually features around 800 visual artists and more than 50 musicians across 21 blocks. The festival's return date has not been announced.

Heejung Sisk, who runs the Dallas-based baking business Cowgirl Chloe Macarons, sold at the festival for a second year. She said she sold out of her goods by 8 p.m. last year and prioritized the event's sales to support her family. Sisk said she saw news about street construction but did not know it would affect her business.

"I would be devastated," Sisk said. She said the income helps pay for her children's education and their arts and music careers. Vendors are now left to plan how they will adjust.
