As of Friday, Nov. 6, Canyon Lake was at 907.25 feet above mean sea level, or 96.2% full, according to the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA). The full conservation pool is 909 feet. At that level, the reservoir holds 378,852 acre-feet of water and covers 8,200 surface acres.

The forecast November release at Sattler is 100 cubic feet per second (cfs). GBRA said the rate follows its reservoir operating requirements and permits, and that releases may change as conditions change.

Streamflow readings from U.S. Geological Survey gauges on Friday were 117 cfs on the Guadalupe River at Spring Branch, 103 cfs at Sattler and 145 cfs at New Braunfels. Readers can find real-time data at gbra.org or waterdatafortexas.org.
