The Sugar Land Arts & Music Festival runs Friday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 8, at Sugar Land Town Square in Fort Bend County. Visitors can see artwork from more than 100 juried artists, watch live entertainment and sample food from the Sugar Land area. The festival also includes a curated wine garden and live performances.
This year the festival moves to a new location at Sugar Land Town Square, an open-air venue surrounded by shops and restaurants. Organizers are making admission free for the first time.
The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation, a nonprofit, produces the festival. Proceeds help fund arts and music scholarships for underserved youth in Fort Bend County. Festival hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event is at 2711 Plaza Drive.
