Paul Werner is running for the Woodville City Council, seeking the Alderman Place 1 seat. Werner said he graduated from Woodville High School in 1984 and has lived in the city since.
Werner said the city needs changes. He cited loose animals as one problem. He also said the city needs more businesses ahead of a new highway coming into the area, and said it is important to keep young people in town.
He encouraged residents to take part in early voting, which he said starts October 19.
