Police in Pampa have arrested three people in connection with a shots-fired incident that police say left no one injured. The Pampa Police Department said officers heard gunfire near McCollough and Hobart streets during patrol on the evening of Oct. 10, 2026.
After 911 calls sent officers to the 1200 block of South Faulkner Street, they learned that several people had left the area after the gunfire. Investigators reviewed video evidence and interviewed witnesses before obtaining arrest warrants for three people police believe were involved.
Tanner Reid Hembree was arrested Oct. 17, Sherman Jaxson Cummings on Oct. 20, and Oscar Vargas on Oct. 25. Police said each faces multiple counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with each count representing a separate victim identified in the investigation. The warrants also include a charge of deadly conduct, police said.
