An All Souls Day Mass will be held at San Ysidro Cemetery in Pleasanton on Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. Chairs, snacks and water will be provided. Attendees may also bring their own lawn chairs.
The cemetery is asking members to clean up around their plots. Members should remove rusted-out aluminum plaster cans and faded flowers. Glass vases are not permitted on any grave sites and should be removed. A clean-up day is set for Nov. 14 at 8 a.m., and the public is invited to help or attend.
Some plots are available. People who want to become members can call Delia Brister at 830-570-6101 to schedule an appointment. She will schedule appointments on Nov. 2 after the Mass.
