Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in central Laredo on Thursday. The crash flipped a truck onto its side at Meadow Avenue and Lane Street, and emergency crews responded to the scene.
Paramedics took two men from the overturned vehicle to Laredo Medical Center. Their injuries were not specified. Crews took a 66-year-old woman from the second vehicle to Doctors Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. A fourth person involved in the wreck refused treatment at the scene.
Police shut down the intersection for cleanup. Officials urged drivers to use alternate routes while the area is closed.
