Texas Monthly magazine published "The Texas Grand" on Oct. 26. The list names what the magazine considers the thousand or so best restaurants in Texas.

Waco restaurants on the list include La Fiesta Restaurant & Cantina, Kitok and Red Herring. Texas Monthly described La Fiesta as a long-loved Waco standby known for generous queso, fried starters and strong margaritas.
