With 63 of 254 counties reporting early voting results Tuesday evening, Democrat Amy Taylor gained ground on Republican Mindy Bumgarner in the race for State Board of Education District 14.
Bumgarner, a Republican candidate for the State Board of Education, had lost some ground in the early returns.
