Charles Freeman III, a board member of the Wilson County Soil and Water Conservation District, was honored Sept. 28 for 30 years of service on the board.

The honor was presented by Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts President Leroy Wolff, Texas Soil and Water Conservation Board Governor Appointee Lindsay Bowers and Vice Chairman Jose Dodier, according to a photo caption provided with the story.
