Dallas County voters can use The Dallas Morning News' wait-time tracker to compare and estimate how long they may need to wait at early voting sites. Early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30, and Election Day is Nov. 3. The ballot includes races for U.S. senator, governor, attorney general and other state and local offices.

Dallas County has more than 80 early voting sites. They are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Residents can check their registration status on the Dallas County Elections Department website.

The News' tool also lets voters enter an address to see their ballot, learn about candidates and propositions, and email their selections to themselves. Voters cannot use a phone in the voting booth, but they can bring written or printed notes of their choices.
