The murder trial of Markies Conway, known professionally as Yella Beezy, entered its eighth day, with court set to resume Thursday morning. Conway has pleaded not guilty to capital murder in connection with the death of Dallas rapper MO3, whose real name was Melvin Noble.

Prosecutors allege Conway hired Kewon White to kill Noble after a feud between the two rappers that dated back to 2017. During the previous week of testimony, witnesses described a chaotic scene of gunfire on a Dallas freeway, according to the report.

White was convicted of capital murder in September and sentenced to life in prison.
