Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said a Colmesneil man was arrested in Jasper County on Monday. The man, Christopher Alan Cormicle, 49, of Colmesneil, was arrested on a warrant for a motion to revoke community supervision.
The warrant stems from an original possession of a controlled substance charge. Havard said Cormicle was on probation for a 2025 case, when he was stopped north of Buna and found with just under an ounce of methamphetamine.
Havard said Sgt. Gray of the Jasper County Sheriff's Office was sent to the Dam B bridge, where he made the arrest. Cormicle was taken to the Jasper County Jail without incident.
