An investment company owned by filmmaker Taylor Sheridan has bought the Isis Theater in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Business partner David Glasser told the Fort Worth Report that the group plans to restore the venue "back to its glory." Tarrant County Appraisal District records show the purchase was made in December 2025.
The building, at 2401 N. Main St., will become a 1920s-inspired Texas supper club, a concept that typically pairs dinner with a show. The company behind the project, SGS Supper Club, is owned by Sheridan, Glasser and Dan Schryer. Glasser said construction will begin soon, but no opening date has been set while the design is finished. He said the goal is to keep the building's exterior consistent with its past appearance.
The theater closed in 2023 due to $5.3 million in loan defaults and delinquent taxes under previous management. Sheridan's group also bought the nearby Cattlemen's Steakhouse in summer 2025. Paul Paine, president and CEO of Fort Worth Stockyards Inc., said he is excited about the project and called it "very positive" for the historic district.
