The Columbus Chamber of Commerce thanked the businesses, organizations, volunteers and families who took part in its second annual Trick or Treat Around the Track. The chamber asked residents to mark Shop Small Saturday on Nov. 28 and to shop at local stores and restaurants during the holiday season.

The chamber's Lighted Christmas Parade is set for Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. downtown. Ladies Night Out is planned for Thursday, Dec. 3, from 4 to 9 p.m. and will include holiday shopping, wine sampling, food, horse-drawn carriage rides, photo opportunities and vendors.

Commemorative wine glasses and shopping bags will sell for $25 beginning Nov. 16 at the Chamber Office, 425 Spring Street. Booth spaces for Ladies Night Out are available at the Stafford Opera House and on the Courthouse Square, and the chamber said booths are open only to Chamber members. Members interested in a booth can contact the Chamber office.
