Students at the Lyndon B. Johnson High School main campus are being released early today because of utility line issues, according to United Independent School District officials. UISD Board Member Gilbert Aguilar Jr. announced that the district received confirmation from the City of Laredo that the affected lines cannot be temporarily rerouted.

District officials said the early release applies only to the LBJ main campus. Transportation is being arranged, and buses are on their way to help with dismissal.

Campus administrators are preparing an official notice with dismissal and pickup instructions. Parents are asked to watch campus communications and follow all dismissal directives.
