Two brothers, 21-year-old Dylan Talley and 20-year-old Jesse Talley, were arrested Thursday by U.S. Marshals on West Gerald Street on San Antonio's Southwest Side. Both were wanted on felony warrants for robbery and organized criminal activity.
According to an arrest affidavit, the charges stem from a robbery earlier this month in the parking lot of South Park Mall. The affidavit says a man approached a woman and asked for the time, then punched her in the face and grabbed her gold necklace. She fell, and the affidavit says the man struck her several more times before fleeing in a black sedan. She had a visible facial injury, and her broken glasses were found nearby.
The affidavit says another suspect, Juan Diego Vasquez, confessed to the robbery and said both Talley brothers were also in the vehicle. Investigators said officers stopped a car registered to Jesse Talley for a traffic violation and found the three men inside. The affidavit says Jesse Talley pawned the victim's necklace for $800 the day after the robbery.
