Family members and friends of the victims, along with community leaders, held a candlelight vigil Thursday. They lit each other's candles as they honored the 13 people who died in a Fort Hood mass killing.

The vigil marked 17 years since the Nov. 5 massacre, according to the Killeen Daily Herald.
