KPRC Click2Houston has named 14 U.S. Senate races it will be watching on Election Night, Nov. 3. The station said 35 seats are in play. Republicans hold the Senate 53-47, and Democrats are trying to flip at least two seats to win the majority.

In Texas, Republican Ken Paxton will face Democrat James Talarico. Paxton defeated Sen. John Cornyn, who has held the seat since 2002, in the Republican primary. Talarico won the Democratic nomination over U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett. The station said the race has become the most expensive Senate race on record. A University of Houston Hobby School survey of likely voters, conducted Oct. 10 to 14, found Talarico at 48% and Paxton at 46%.

The station also listed races in Michigan, where Democrat Abdul El-Sayed faces Republican Mike Rogers for a seat held by Sen. Gary Peters, who is not running for re-election, and in Georgia, where Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff faces Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Collins. The station said President Donald Trump has voiced support for Collins.
