Calvin Allen of the Major James Innes Randolph Jr. Camp 2255 in Willow Park presented a $500 check to Lorraine Crutcher of the Doss Heritage and Culture Center. The money will help sponsor the center's annual Pioneer Fest in Weatherford.
According to the story, the Randolph Camp has been a donor, sponsor and participant since the Doss Center opened in 2006.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans is a worldwide historical and heritage organization. Its members are male descendants of people who served in the Confederate government or military. More than 3,000 members serve in more than 90 camps throughout Texas.
