A utility task vehicle rolled over near Lake Meredith, and both occupants suffered minor injuries, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were sent to the Blue West area of the lake at about 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.
First responders were told that one person was hurt and another was missing. Emergency personnel found one occupant near a staging area set up by a bridge. Deputies used an all-terrain vehicle to guide Moore County EMS personnel across rough ground to the second occupant, who was on the east side of a creek. Responders checked that person at the scene and took him to the staging area.
The sheriff's office said both occupants had minor injuries. Moore County deputies, Dumas Fire, Moore County EMS, Moore County Emergency Management and the National Park Service took part in the response.
