375 Chicken 'N Fries, a halal fried chicken concept, held its soft opening at the end of October off Avenue A in Denton, a company representative said. The restaurant is at 105 Ave. A and opened Oct. 29.
According to the company's website, the menu includes tenders, wings, sandwiches, popcorn chicken with sauces, fried chicken on mac and cheese and loaded fries. The restaurant has more than a dozen sauces, all made in house. The website says the chicken has no added preservatives or additives. The business also offers catering.
This is the second 375 Chicken 'N Fries in Texas. Its Arlington location opened at the end of September. The concept started in New York City serving only fries, and it added halal fried chicken during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the website. The Denton space previously held Slap Burger, which closed in April, according to an earlier report.
