The AARP Driver Safety Course and the Van Zandt County/Sarah Norman Library are sponsoring a driver safety class from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12. The library is at 317 First Monday Lane (FM 859) in Canton.
The course is designed mainly for drivers 50 and older. It teaches drivers how to adjust for changes that come with age in eyesight, hearing and reflexes. The story says most participants will qualify for insurance premium reductions of up to 10 percent on their policy cost for the next three years. The fee covers materials only.
