All eastbound lanes of State Highway 71 are closed at Presidential Boulevard near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the Texas Department of Transportation said. The closure is due to a gravel spill.
TxDOT did not say what caused the spill or when the lanes are expected to reopen. Travelers heading to the airport should plan for delays and allow extra time.
