Investigators are working on the case in Penwell, west of Odessa, and have not released further details.
The Ector County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found inside a vehicle near Interstate 20 in Penwell, west of Odessa.
The sheriff's office confirmed on Wednesday that a dead person was found inside the vehicle. It did not give further details because the investigation is ongoing.
