A Veterans Day celebration in Conroe on Nov. 7 will include live music, a flyover and guest speakers, with free admission. In Kemah, a Salute to Military & First Responders on Nov. 7-8 will offer fireworks, live entertainment and a 5K race. The city of Magnolia will hold its first fall festival on Nov. 7 at Unity Park, with an inflatable corn maze, shopping and a chance to dunk city council members.
St. Edith Stein Catholic Church in Katy will host its 15th annual fall festival on Nov. 7-8. Comedian Nikki Glaser performs at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on Nov. 6, with tickets starting at $58. A free screening of the 2016 film "La La Land" is set for Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. at City Place Plaza in Spring.
