Alliance Bank has named Craig Roberts its next Chief Executive Officer, effective Oct. 16, the bank announced. The bank is approaching its 100th year in business.
Tom Sellers, chairman of the board, said the board chose Roberts after a thorough search. Roberts previously worked at Guaranty Bank & Trust, a division of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. According to the bank, he will lead its expansion into new markets, investment in technology, and development of the next generation of Texas bankers.
Roberts said he has known the board, staff and communities for a long time. Alliance Bank will hold a series of community events in the coming weeks in its five Texas counties: Hopkins, Hunt, Rockwall, Franklin and Collin. Its branches are in Sulphur Springs, Greenville, Rockwall, Mount Vernon, Plano, Commerce and Wolfe City.
