The Towers, LLC is proposing to build a 265-foot self-supporting lattice telecommunications structure near 11349 FM 557 in Pittsburg, in Upshur County, according to a public notice. The company said the tower is expected to use medium-intensity dual red and white strobe lighting under FAA Style E.
The company invites comments from any interested party on how the project could affect historic districts, sites, buildings, structures or objects listed or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Comments may be sent to Environmental Corporation of America, attention Annamarie Howell, in Alpharetta, Georgia, or by email to publicnotice@eca-usa.com. Comments must be received within 30 days of the notice date.
The notice also says any interested party may ask the FCC for further environmental review, under 47 CFR §1.1307, by raising specific environmental concerns. Requests can be filed online through the FCC pleadings system.
