Members of the Laredo Rotary Motorcycle Riders completed their 10th annual 800-mile motorcycle journey in support of Rotary International's End Polio Now campaign. The riders stopped in Alice, Texas, on Sunday, October 25, on their way back to Laredo. They have made the Alice Rotary Club stop a tradition for the past decade.

Proceeds from the motorcycle fundraiser are donated to the End Polio Now campaign, which supports vaccination efforts in countries where polio remains a public health concern. The story said that tremendous progress has been made in reducing polio cases worldwide, but continued vaccination remains essential.

Alice Rotarians worked with students from the Alice High School Rotary Interact Club to provide a meal for the riders. The Alice Rotary Club thanked the Knights of Columbus for a donation and for the use of their meeting room during the stop.
