The Benjamin Mustangs spent time with younger students to christen a new playground at Benjamin ISD. The equipment was on its way early in the summer and was expected in October.

Superintendent Rhonda Moffett said she was pleased with the delivery and installation. The project included a surface and a retainer to keep the surface materials in place.

Funds to buy the playground came from general fund revenue.
