According to the shelter's pet listing, Leah will be ready for adoption soon. The 2-year-old Dachshund mix is described as very playful and friendly.
Leah does well with other dogs and cats, but she likes to nip when playing. The listing says she is not a good match for toddlers, though older children are fine. She will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
The adoption fee is $175 for dogs and $150 for cats. People interested in adopting can call 903-638-6902 to request an application, which will be emailed to them, or visit the shelter at 657 Co Rd 2840 in Mineola.
