The Championship Wrestling Federation (CWF) is hosting its Rose City Rumble in Tyler on Saturday. The event starts at 8 p.m. at the True Vine Pavilion and is free to attend. The CWF said the event will also include food trucks, costume contests and other weekend activities.
CWF founder Mark Vaughn said the event is meant to bring family-friendly entertainment to East Texas. CWF also partnered with the East Texas Food Bank to help support communities across 26 counties.
Vaughn said food insecurity is a personal concern for him. He said the partnership was a way to work with the local community, raise awareness of the group and do something good for Tyler and the surrounding area.
