Voters in North Richland Hills approved three of four bond propositions on this year's ballot, according to unofficial election results. The city will use $135.43 million in approved funds to improve fire stations, roadways and a City Services Complex. Residents rejected a proposal to expand the library's community room.
According to the city website, bonds will be issued starting in 2028, and projects will be completed in phases over about a decade. City council members will canvass the election results at their Nov. 17 special meeting.
The city said voters have approved all bond propositions on the ballot in past elections except in 2003, when they rejected a proposal to expand what is now the City Services Complex. Voters approved improvements to that facility this year.
