The Decatur Lady Eagles will compete as a team at the UIL 4A state championships, the first time in three years the program has done so.

The team ran through inclement weather on the soggy trails of Lubbock's Mae Simmons Park on Monday. Decatur scored 91 points to finish third in the 4A Region I girls 2-mile race, clinching a spot at state.
