The annual Help a Child Benefit in Sulphur Springs includes cooking competitions that raise money for Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas. Masonic Lodges in Hopkins and surrounding counties also contributed to the work done for children through Scottish Rite Hospital.
Auctioneer Wade Bartley has added new activities for students. One is the Ag Mechanics Build-off. The benefit day also includes a raffle to win a Kubota with a trailer. Ryder Rawson won the Kubota in 2026.
In the Ag Mechanics Build-off, Timpson FFA took first place as Grand Champion. Chisum FFA was Reserve Champion, and the Saltillo FFA Chapter placed third.
