Ingram is a Hill Country town of about 1,900 people. Its police department partnered with ICE after city leaders pushed officers to increase traffic stops and citations, according to a ProPublica investigation.
The investigation found that within a year, police turned over to ICE the equivalent of roughly 10% of the town's population.
Investigative reporter Francesca D'Annunzio is scheduled to join Texas Standard to explain how the partnership has affected residents, officers and the local economy.
