Unofficial results show Rick Salinas finished first but did not win a majority, so he will face the incumbent mayor in a December 12 runoff.
Attorney Rick Salinas finished first in unofficial results from the November 3, 2026, mayoral election in Mission, Texas. He is the son of former Mission Mayor Norberto "Beto" Salinas.
Because no candidate received a majority, Salinas will face the incumbent mayor in a runoff on December 12.
