The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs host the Normangee Panthers Friday night in a district football game. Corrigan is 3-1 in district play and has won four of its last five games. The Bulldogs last played on the road, beating Iola 21-18, and then had an open week.
Bulldogs head coach Brett Ratliff said the team was banged up and needed the break. He said the players still worked on different defensive schemes and some passing concepts during the week. Senior running back Derrick Reagie and sophomore quarterback Mikey Murphy have led the offense.
Normangee is 3-5 overall and 1-3 in district play. The Panthers snapped a five-game losing streak with an 18-15 road win over Groveton earlier this month. First-year head coach Chris Sexton leads the program. In the last meeting, Corrigan beat Normangee 26-6 on the road last October.
