Average gasoline prices in Texas have fallen 9.8 cents per gallon over the last week, to an average of $3.59 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 13,114 stations in the state.
GasBuddy said Texas prices are 32.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. They are $1.11 per gallon higher than a year ago.
GasBuddy price reports showed the cheapest Texas station was priced at $3.09 per gallon on the previous day, while the most expensive was $5.59 per gallon. The company said the national average price of diesel fell 5.9 cents from a week earlier, to $6.281 per gallon.
