The City of Rockwall Art Commission will hold a community unveiling ceremony for a new public mural in historic downtown Rockwall on Nov. 16. The event is set for 4:30 p.m. at Charlie's Burgers & Street Tacos, 213 E. Rusk St., where the mural is painted on the restaurant's exterior wall.
The public is invited to attend, meet local artist Emily Jacks-Holdsworth and see the finished artwork. According to the city, the mural is meant to reflect Rockwall's historic roots, creativity and community spirit.
The unveiling is part of the city's ongoing effort to add public art and enhance the character of historic downtown.
