A community blood drive will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 at AVIR in Bowie, at 700 W. U.S. Highway 287 South.

The Carter BloodCare Bus will be on site with its staff to collect donations. People can sign up for a time slot online through a link in the original announcement.
