The Tyler Legacy basketball teams held their annual Red Raider Madness scrimmage on Wednesday at the Legacy varsity gymnasium in Tyler. The boys and girls teams gave fans an early look at both squads.
Tyler ISD Athletic Director Sam Gillispie and Tyler Morning Telegraph sports writer Brandon Ogden led the teams in place of the regular coaches. The Red team won over the Black team 63-60, and players took turns for four minutes in each quarter.
The Lady Raiders are scheduled to open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 6, at home against Richardson Lake Highlands at 6:30 p.m. The Red Raiders' first home game is Dec. 1 against Tyler High at 7 p.m.
