Wing Aviation LLC plans to invest $125 million over the next two years to manufacture aircraft at a new 15,000-square-foot factory in Fort Worth, officials announced Friday afternoon. Wing said the investment will create up to 100 manufacturing jobs and let the company produce tens of thousands of drones a year.

Wing CEO Adam Woodworth said in a statement that the U.S. is the company's focus for growth. Wing said it operates drones at nearly 70 Walmart locations and recently completed more than 1 million home deliveries this year.

The company said its Walmart partnership will expand to more than 270 stores, with drone deliveries planned in San Diego; Memphis, Tennessee; New Orleans; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Salt Lake City; and the San Francisco Bay area. Wing said it started local delivery service in June 2024 at a Walmart on North Beach Street in Fort Worth.
