The Lakeside City Council approved an employee structure for the city, along with a job description and salary for the city secretary position. The action followed the departure of City Administrator Cory Aspinwall.

At the Tuesday, Oct. 20 meeting, Mayor Lee-Ann Burnett presented two options for how the city structure could work. Under both, the City Administrator position would be renamed City Secretary.
