The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is accepting public input through Dec. 19 for its US 83 Texas Corridor Study. The study will set a long-range plan to guide improvements along the corridor.

The corridor runs from Carrizo Springs to the Texas-Oklahoma state line. According to TxDOT, the study will look at existing roadway conditions, traffic operations, safety concerns and expected growth. Residents, businesses, commuters and other corridor users can share their experiences and priorities through an online survey. TxDOT said the feedback will help it evaluate future transportation needs.

The study is expected to be completed by late 2027. People can access the survey and learn more about the plan on the US 83 Texas Corridor Study page on TxDOT's website.
