Beeville says city water system is separate from contaminated private wells
Municipal officials said the town's water system is not connected to private rural wells where bacterial contamination was found.
Beeville municipal officials said last Friday that the city's water system remains completely separate from private rural water wells where bacterial contamination was detected. The wells were reported to be affected by E. coli.
The clarification came as residents expressed growing concern about the contamination, according to the report.
