The school board approved the final payment for the Edison Elementary mold remediation, and the district negotiated a $43,000 savings.
The Gainesville Independent School District has finished paying for the emergency mold removal at Edison Elementary. The school board approved the last payment at its Oct. 19 meeting.
GISD Director of Maintenance and Operations Joe Warren presented the final invoice for the remediation. He said the district negotiated a savings of $43,000.
