A New York Times report published Tuesday says Tracy Duhon, a religious influencer from Louisiana, is registered as a Democrat in her home state. The report does not say how long she has been registered. It also says she is not registered to vote in Texas. Louisiana voters register by party, unlike Texas voters.

The Times reports that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is running for U.S. Senate, and Duhon have moved in together. The couple reportedly share a home in a gated community in Frisco, north of Dallas. The home was bought in February by a blind trust whose beneficiaries are not named, and the paper reports that both have been tied to the property. Records show police called Duhon's phone number several times after false burglar alarms at the home.

According to the report, Paxton's aides have kept Duhon off the campaign trail and out of his ads. Paxton's wife, state Sen. Angela Paxton, filed for divorce in July 2025 on "biblical grounds." Court filings tied the separation to accusations of infidelity. The divorce is still pending.
