Arlington police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the death of 18-year-old Yoan Del Risco Falcon, who died at a Fort Worth gas station in late October. Police said the shooting happened Oct. 25 at an Arlington apartment complex where a party was taking place. Officials believe the teen and Del Risco Falcon argued in the parking lot, and the argument escalated into a shooting.
Police said Del Risco Falcon's friends put him in a vehicle after the shooting and drove looking for a hospital. They stopped at a gas station in the 6600 block of Brentwood Stair Road in Fort Worth, where he was pronounced dead. First responders were called to the gas station.
Homicide detectives identified the shooter as a 17-year-old boy and obtained an arrest warrant for one count of murder. Investigators said he left the state a short time after the shooting. U.S. Marshals Service members found him in South Dakota and took him into custody. He is awaiting extradition to Tarrant County.
